How this product is commonly made and qualified

This explains the checkpoints a buyer should verify. It does not claim that KeelGauge manufactures the product or that every supplier uses the same route.

  1. 01

Select the applicable ERW, LSAW, SSAW, or other project-approved production route.

  2. 02

Verify plate, coil, or billet grade, heat traceability, and engineering dimensions.

  3. 03

Form and weld or otherwise produce the pipe according to the selected route.

  4. 04

Control geometry, weld quality, wall thickness, straightness, and cut length.

  5. 05

Complete specified mechanical, chemical, hydrostatic, NDT, or third-party checks.

  6. 06

Apply coating, project marking, staged packing, and loading-plan coordination.

Platform-owned RFQ, certified supplier matching

Buyer information remains in the platform CRM. Supplier specialists only receive assigned, qualified leads for quotation and manufacturing confirmation after platform matching.

Buyer checks before quotation

  • Can structural requirements be checked before supplier matching?
  • Can project documentation be reviewed during qualification?
  • Can multiple surface treatment options be compared?
Supplier evidence is matched to the final route

Standards, listings, MTCs, coating records, inspection reports, and project references must belong to the applicable selected supplier and product scope.
