This launch template explains how the platform collects buyer requirements, protects customer records, and limits supplier access. It should be reviewed before production launch.
Information we collect
When a buyer submits an RFQ, KeelGauge may collect product requirements, specification, quantity, destination port, application, timeline, name, company, country, email, WhatsApp number, message, and source channel.
We may also collect basic technical data such as page visits, referrer, campaign parameters, device information, and form interaction signals for analytics, fraud prevention, and conversion improvement.
How we use buyer information
We use RFQ information to qualify purchasing intent, prepare supplier matching, coordinate certificate-backed quotation support, communicate with buyers, and improve our procurement workflow.
Buyer records remain platform-owned. Supplier specialists only receive assigned lead details when platform operators decide that technical or quotation support is appropriate.
Supplier access and customer asset protection
KeelGauge controls supplier identity, contact access, and customer records. It may share limited RFQ details with certified manufacturing partners, anchor suppliers, backup suppliers, or specialist suppliers for quotation and technical support.
Suppliers are not granted access to the full customer pool, unassigned leads, advertising data, platform settings, or unrelated buyer records.
Data retention and security
RFQ records, notes, assignment history, and communication context may be retained in the platform CRM for follow-up, audit, sales quality review, and campaign optimization.
We use technical and organizational controls intended to limit access to customer records. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but access should be limited to platform staff and assigned collaborators.
Contact and updates
Buyers may contact the platform to request correction or deletion of submitted contact information, subject to legitimate business, security, dispute, and legal retention needs.
This policy is a launch template and should be reviewed before production use in target jurisdictions.
Customer asset principle
Buyer records stay inside the platform CRM
Certified supplier partners only receive assigned lead details for quotation and technical support.
