What service information is needed for oil or engineering pipe sourcing?
Identify whether the requirement is line pipe, casing, tubing, process piping, pressure equipment or general engineering use. Provide fluid, design pressure and temperature, corrosion or sour-service conditions, dimensions, grade, product standard, PSL or supplementary requirements, ends, coating, inspection, quantity and destination.
How should API, PED or project certificates be verified?
Check the legal manufacturer and factory, certificate number and validity, applicable product and grade scope, standard edition, quality-system scope and any notified-body or licensing limits. The selected batch documents must remain traceable to the quoted manufacturing route; a general company certificate does not prove every pipe complies.

Define the agency, inspection and test plan, notice period, acceptance documents, reinspection responsibility and cost allocation so suppliers can quote time and cost consistently.
Standards, listings, MTCs, coating records, inspection reports, and project references must belong to the applicable selected supplier and product scope.
